The genetic history of prehistoric foragers in northern Eurasia and their potential connection to the spread of Uralic and Yeniseian languages remains poorly understood. Here, we report genome-wide data from 85 ancient individuals from northern Eurasia dating to between ∼16,000 and 1,500 years ago.
